PARK AVENUE WEST TOWER
Park Avenue West Tower is the newest addition of Class A office space in the heart of Portland's Central Business district. Park Avenue West Tower is a 27-story, 395,831 square foot, mixed-use development located next to the Fox Tower and Director Park. With LEED Platinum pre-certification, the tower will be both a visually-distinct and eco-friendly part of downtown Portland's beautiful skyline.
FOX TOWER
A 27-story office building opened in 2000, the Fox Tower is one of Portland's most recently opened major office buildings. The building is named after the Fox Theatre which occupied the site from 1911 until the late 1990s. The building is most notable for the contrast between its curving east side and boxy west side. The juxtaposition of the building's angles creates a unique profile from each side. The building's design is meant to prevent as much of the building's shadow as possible from falling upon neighboring Pioneer Courthouse Square. Home to many of Portland's premier businesses, the building also houses ground-level retail stores, fine dining establishments and a Regal Cinemas movie theater.
DIRECTOR PARK
Director Park is serves as a back yard for the Fox Tower and the future Park Avenue West Tower. Located on SW Park and Yamhill, the park features a water fountain, a restaurant/café, and a covered outdoor seating area. The development of Director Park was truly a community effort as the land for the park was donated by TMT Development founder Thomas P. Moyer, partial funding was donated by Portland philanthropist Jordan Schnitzer, and the park is now owned and operated by Portland Parks and Recreation. Director Park was recently listed as one of Sunset Magazine's Top 10 Urban Parks.
